Jigsaw PHSE added to Educater Assessment
Educater is glad to announce the addition of Jigsaw PHSE to its Assessment school pupil tracker platform. Jigsaw PHSE is the latest in a line of different curriculum content being added to Educater with more content expected to be announced soon.
Other curriculum content currently available to schools on Educater’s platform include Rising Stars Progression Frameworks, NAHT Assessment Frameworks, Access2Education, Pearson, Discovery RE and STAT Sheffield. School leaders can pick and mix between the different content or create their own to make sure they have a curriculum that is right for their school.
Jigsaw, the mindful approach to Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education, is an original Scheme of Learning from age 3-16 covering all aspects of a comprehensive PSHE curriculum and meeting all aspects of the DfE compulsory Relationships, Sex and Health Education.
Jigsaw integrates social and emotional literacy with PSHE in a lesson – a- week programme, underpinned by mindfulness philosophy and practice. The scheme includes detailed lesson plans, innovative Jigsaw Friends and chimes, and all teaching resources. It has been written to be used by non-specialist and specialist PSHE teachers alike.
Jigsaw lessons are supported by the whole school elements of the resource including assembly materials, original music and songs and a weekly whole school focus on behaviour/ social/ emotional skills development.
