At Bett 2015, The Publishing Foundry is to launch a system developed in partnership with schools from across the United Kingdom (UK) that has been tailor made to streamline school administration and management. The Publishing Foundry was one of only 30 companies selected to be showcased in the Futures area of the show by a panel of teachers and education experts, due to the strength of its new solution.

The Publishing Foundry Ltd will be showcasing its document & school SMS system on stand BFS14.

At the event, the company’s team will be on-hand to demonstrate the system and show schools how using Educater can streamline school processes. The system works with a school’s existing management systems to pull and merge information into documentation where necessary and then distribute as required, either internally or externally. The school and parent communication software integrates email, print, mailhouse and text messaging as well as automatically filing all records along the way. The pre-defined workflows are designed to meet the common needs of the school, but are also flexible enough to accommodate an individual school’s needs.

James Sutherland, co-founder and director, The Publishing Foundry says: “We all care passionately about helping schools, and it was important to us that we worked really closely with different establishments to develop this system and ensure that what we are able to offer them will have a real impact. We’re addressing current issues by bringing data from multiple school systems such as SIMS into a single point of access to manage workflow efficiently and we have spent over a year now working with our development partner schools. Our focus has always been to provide a system that works extremely well, is supported well with 24/7 user support and is easy to use. We’re very much looking forward to showing Educater to the schools at BETT 2015 and we’re excited to hear their feedback”.

Educater will provide schools with a tailored solution and is fully compliant in all areas including Data Protection and secure authentication. Educater is accessible through any kind of device onsite or offsite, but all data used in Educater’s workflow modules is completely secure and remains inside the school’s network at all times.
