STATonline, the complete school tracking system for life after levels was developed by a unique and exciting partnership, with the content being produced by the school leaders who created the STAT Sheffield assessment materials and the functionality and intuitive design developed by the BT Innovation award-winning designers of Educater.

The company’s team along with some of the STAT Steering Group members will be on-hand to demonstrate the system and show schools how using Educater can help to track & assess pupils, as well as streamline school processes.

BETT 2016 takes place at Excel London starting on Wednesday 20th January until Saturday 23rd January.

Leader of the STAT Project

Stephen is currently seconded to be the Interim Chief Executive of Learn Sheffield, which a Schools Company created by Sheffield schools and colleges, in conjunction with the LA, to deliver school improvement in the city. His substantive role is as Headteacher of Malin Bridge Primary School in Sheffield.

Headteacher of Brunswick Community Primary School

Neil has been the Headteacher of Brunswick Community Primary School for 5 years. Brunswick is a large community school in Sheffield serving a mixed area. He has been involved in STAT Sheffield as a member of the steering group from the start of the project being developed across the city and has also led the development of the Reading and Writing grids.

 

Robbie McGrath

Headteacher of Malin Bridge Primary School

Robbie is Headteacher at Malin Bridge Primary School. He devised the original content for the STAT assessment framework and a lead in all the collaborative groups which then produced all materials. Robbie worked with the NAHT to advise them on their assessment guidance and helped them to produce their performance descriptors along with other colleagues from Sheffield. He has worked closely with Educater to develop STATonline and has been using the system in his school since September to analyse whole school achievement and support staff in planning next steps in learning for children.

Deputy Headteacher of Malin Bridge Primary School

Chris is Deputy Head at Malin Bridge Primary School and was involved in part of the focus groups which shaped the development of the STAT assessment system. He took on a leading role in developing the statement descriptors which exemplify the specific detail of national curriculum objectives. He is currently teaching in Y2, but has also worked in KS2 and been the Head of an integrated resource and has extensive experience in SEN provision and achievement tracking.

Senior Leader at Malin Bridge Primary School

Jess is a Senior Leader at Malin Bridge and is responsible for leading Maths and Upper KS2. She was part of the team who created the training materials for the STAT assessment system and has taken a leading role in training staff at Malin Bridge on using STATonline. Jess has supported other schools throughout Yorkshire and provided training on how to adapt teaching and learning in the new curriculum. She has extensive expertise in how the use of assessment data can be used to precisely inform planning.

Schools Data Officer, Sheffield City Council

Previously a journalist and reporter Adam has worked in education for over ten years. After his role at Hunter’s Bar Junior School, Sheffield where he had responsibility for IT and Data, Adam moved to Sheffield City Council’s Performance and Analysis Service (PAS). He was involved in the development of the Sheffield Pupil Progress Tracker for eight years and is now working in partnership with Educater on the STATonline
