Educater is pleased to announce that school leaders and teachers using Educater Assessment will now be able to access the Pearson’s Abacus content, designed to support teachers in making well-informed judgements about how primary aged children are learning in mathematics.

Abacus from Pearson helps children master mathematical concepts and to encourage a love for maths. This is the latest content to be added to the Educater platform and is now available alongside other current assessment providers which include STAT Sheffield, Rising Stars, Access to Education and NAHT.

Educater’s Director Gareth Heggie said: “We are delighted to be working with Pearson to provide schools with access to their Abacus primary mathematics content. From speaking and listening to schools, we know that this will be a very popular addition to our platform and we look forward to receiving feedback from our customers on the difference it will have to children’s learning.”

“Being able to provide our schools with new and simple ways to track and analyse pupil progression is our primary aim and we believe that this addition symbolises that.”

Lindsay Nadin, Director of Primary Learning Services at Pearson, added, “Pearson is delighted to be working with Educater to give teachers access to Abacus content. We think it is crucial that teachers have all the support and tools available to help facilitate planning, tracking and reporting through insightful data.”
